After I read the article, George Orwell wrote excerpt from why I write he explains that he feels that there are only four great motives. He said nothing about writing when you are sad. Whenever I am sad, I write to express my feelings. I have found that when I am sad and I write it helps me to feel a lot better. When I am writing and I am in pain I can use words that will help you to identify where I am coming from. When I am happy, confused, or concerned, sometime write it helps to clear my mind. Some people may not realize that sometimes when we write about real life experiences some people can relate to what we are talking about. It seems more realistic when people are writing about something that you have actually experienced. You have proof and you can better add to you topic. You can back up your topic with solid evidence rather than with a theory. I think that this should be added to the list because I think that it is important and a lot of other people may feel the say way. Everyone has his or her own reason to write but I think that the most personal is writing about a personal experience. I strongly can say that after reading a book about someone’s life experience and how it molded them and maybe even changed their lives is highly inspirational to me. You can learn a lot about a person through the lives on paper. That is why when I am sad I write the best because all of my feelings can be poured into whatever project I am working on.

I feel that the statement made by Stanley Fish was an accurate one because I have experienced a composition course that was extremely boring from her teaching style and method of teaching to the assignments she gave. She always gave the class boring topics to do reports on and dull topics to discuss. She never allowed us to use our imaginations or broaden our minds with new or exciting issues. Some of those boring topics included how to papers, compare and contrast, steps in a process, knowing how to recognize and write good sentences. We learned about sentence structure, sentence fragments, how do research paper and so forth. The topics that we were given, we had most of the information already provided for us, or we were told where to look to find the information we needed. That required very little imagination. We never got a chance to create our own topics and use our own ideas to see how well we were able to create as well as use the information that was taught to us. I feel that the information that was taught could have been learned in a dorm or coffee shop. I feel that it was not challenging in the least and did not stimulate my mind but instead put me to sleep. I think that it would be a good experience to take Stanley Fish’s class because I feel that it would be a challenge for me. His method of coming up with your own language would take a lot of creativity and effort. It would make me think of plenty of creative words, while stimulating and exercising my brain. It is also something I have never done, so I am sure it would be fun but still quite interesting. Although form and content are just as important, I feel the way it is taught will determine its worth.

In the essay written by Harold Bloom “Dumbing down Americans” and the essay written by Steve Almond, “The Bloom is Off the Mark both writers agree that they share the appreciation and the writing style of the elder writers. They concurred on the idea that writing should be about awakening mercy and discovering dark emotions (pretty much anything that expands you mind). Both writers also agree on the fact that older writers wrote for quality and the younger generation is writing for quantity. Almond says although he has never read a Harry Potter book he agrees with Bloom that it is probably filled with clichés. They difference appears when the have different opinions on writing styles. Almond reports that instead of attacking the writers, he should be excoriating the true opponents of creative enlightenment. Mr. Almond argues that culture discourages creativity not the writers, and deep thought, he thinks that such actions are not profitable. I feel that beliefs on good literature may differ from others. I believe that when reading good literature it should include some of the following characteristics: good literature should have good sentence structure. The ideas have to be good ones, ones that are interesting and engaging. The information must be clear and make sense. The characters have to be believable, and well developed. The writing should definitely be able to capture the reader’s emotions, transfer the experience to the reader. All good stories have to have a setting, a plot; it must show consistency and have some sort of imagery. I think that good literature should be understandable. If the reader can imagine what is going on they will understand it better. I feel that bad literature is a story that rambles, it has no meaning, the characters are not believable, and nothing makes sense.

I coach basketball for the future for the kids. I coach for the kids. I coach so I can have things to do. I coach because I it allows the kids to express themselves freely. I coach because I know that one day ill have the pleasure of coaching my son. I coach because I enjoy being a father figure to those who are without. I coach because I love doing it. I coach to inspire kids and to encourage their dreams. I coach to help point them in the right direction of their goals. I coach to be around people. I coach because I love sports like basketball, football, and baseball. I coach because I love being there for the kids the way I wish my dad was there for me. I coach to scout new talent. I coach to see the drills I put in place are effective. I coach to win. I coach to lose. I coach to make kids laugh. I coach not to make them cry but to make them stronger. I coach because my ambitions allow me to want to help others grow. I coach because I can help them understand the game and all its aspects. I coach because thinking of what they would be without me is painful. I coach because it is relaxing to my spirit. I coach because I love the sound of the whistle. I coach because I love giving back to my community and contributing to the sports I love. I coach to see if I can still play the games I loved as a child. When I stopped playing the game things changed for me, and not for the better. Basketball will always be one of my favorite sports. Growing up around sports gave me so many great memories of my childhood. I love to COACH because that who I am destined to be.

Describe one specific time when I disagreed with the decision that my 2 brother and sister made when they want to put my grandmother in a home. My grandmother was a very strong women that stood around 6 feet and 2 inches tall . A women that wouldn’t take no or can’t do something for an answer. Grand mom took care of me and brothers and sis while my parents was out in the streets on drugs. She always will tell us that our mother and father had a problem that they were working on and one day they will be back for us and they will always love us. My sis was lighting candle in the window for them so that they want forget were we was .Granny work two different jobs. One in the morning and part time on the weakens . Times were tough but granny always made a way for us to eat and have clean clothes for school. She told us that go to school and make something out of ourselves and that all she want , so she can be so proud of us. We all finish school and became professional in our field .Grand mom retired and began to take allot of time in her church. She stayed on the usher board for over 30 years. As time went by grand mom was getting older and older. She stared to forget thing and events put never forgot the name of people she came across in her life. She was one lady that everyone respected and honored. So when my family had a meeting about she was no longer to stay home by herself and we need to put her in a nursery home .I wasn’t feel that I said no and she can come and live with me and my wife and kids . We would love to have her. She has brought so much happiness in my family life that we wouldn’t know what to do without her. Thanks to GOD for helping my mother and father with their problems and they came back to find the candle my sister keep late for them.

My blog name is Bodean and the is a name that comes from a white cowboy that in the western day was a man who never use guns to fight only his hands . the name in full was Big Bad Ass Bodean, Bodean went into bars and if a fight broke out he was the first to through a punch and another punch never using a gun. He was 6 feet and three inches tall around two hundred and fifty pound . Bodean never started trouble put trouble always found him. It came from women, money and just his repetition. Guy heard of Big Bad Ass Bodean and everyone want to try themselves apart of him. The sheriff of the town always made sure he knew he wasn’t wanted in their town and he should never stay or come back . How i received the name came from a friend of mines . One day me and some friend was playing basketball. One guy was talking B.S about how he was going to due this and that to who was on the court.His language was not good and he was very disrespectful. He started spitting on people but not on purplish just because the way he was talking and how . The other guys was getting upset and started to talk B.S back. But their talk wasn’t winning . It didn’t get under my skin because i wasnt playing ball yet, so I was laughing at him not with him.The game was over and his team won. Now I started to play and he choosen to check me and started talking the same shit he was doing last game. I stop him and said lets not go with the same game like last game. I dont want to get spit on nor yell at. You know he did not listening and stared talk B.S . He spitted on me twice and I said yo stop spitting on me He laugh and said play ball. The next shout I took and he block it.Then he turn around and started talking more shit and with in two second I just turn and punch him out with one punch. My friend Ron said bam Big Bad Ass Bodean and thats how it started with the name BIG BAD ASS BODEAN???????

hi class i’am really to my self I’m 38 have 2 kids work in real estate investor. I coach kids basketball around the age of 13 through 15 . Outside of work I’m with my kids and family I have large family with a lot of stuff that goes on .I;am in school for Ac and heating for my company future.
